Welcome to Naramake Elementary School
Naramake Elementary is located in Norwalk, Connecticut and has been part of the Norwalk community since 1962. Currently Naramake Elementary serves 350 students in grades PreK - 5 and is one of 12 public elementary schools in the area. Naramake has an outstanding community of dedicated teachers and students supported by a very active PTA.
Naramake is on the move! We have recently partnered with the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE) to become the "Nation's First Quad D Lab School". Through our partnership with ICLE, and drawing on the strong relationships within our school community, every teacher in grades K-5 is currently being trained on research-based teaching strategies that engage students in a rigorous, collaborative learning environment. Beginning with the 2019-20 school year, Naramake will serve as a learning "lab" where other Norwalk Public School teachers can complete teaching fellowships designed to strengthen their craft at lesson design and implementation in order to raise the bar on Tier 1 instruction and increase achievement for all students.
